Captain Frank Berrocal is a native captain born and raised in Tamarindo and has been in the fishing business for over 15 years.Having lived on the East Coast of the USA in the 80s he is fully bilingual.Frank takes a lot of pride in his knowledge and enjoys sharing this with his fellow anglers. He is always in a good mood and ready to entertain his clients with fishing tales.His passion for fishing is contagious and he will always go the extra mile to make sure your fishing trip is a memorable one.

Bucket list trip

Fishing in Costa Rica was a bucket list trip for myself and two teenage boys, but this exceeded all expectations. We landed 14 Mahi Mahi, 3 Yellow Fin Tuna and a Sail Fish in addition there were multiple bites and hookups, Frank kept us on fish all day and was so gracious and accommodating. Mario and Milton worked diligently on the baits, gear and refreshments.

Fished 4 days with Captain Jose and deckhands Milton and Caesar. Fantastic guys to fish with. Very friendly and accomodating. Seriously as excited as we were to catch fish. And when the fishing was slow there was good conversation and information shared. We caught Mahi, sailfish, roosterfish, tuna and jacks both trolling and on poppers. Even managed a huge Pompano on top water. This was my 2nd trip to Costa Rica fishing with Franks crew and they didn't disappoint. I've fished in many different locations around the world and to me a big part of it isn't just the catching. It's the entire experience. . Frank runs a great outfit and is just a genuine pleasure to be around. I wish we could have fished with him as our Captain again as well. Camila was a wonderful communicator and helped keep things running smoothly. Thanks for another great trip guys. Until next time.

We had a full day with Captain Frank, Mario and Milton on the Coyote Tres boat. Cannot express enough how amazing the trip and crew was! We had a blast catching over 20 fish, and the crew really made it just an awesome time. Highly recommend Frank and team!! Thank you! Also, Mario - hola ;).
